In this episode of
what the hell is wrong with you people, the senior editor of CNBC.com, the website of a network dedicated exclusively to business and finance and the markets and whatnot, argues that insider trading is a victimless crime and so a billionaire hedge fund manager being sent to prison for eleven years over it is really, really unfair.
Not kidding.
This is what Occupy Wall Street is talking about. Not simply the crime, but the presumption of entitlement on the part of all involved in the financial sector. Even the reporters are of the opinion sure, this stuff is a crime, but does it really have to be prosecuted?
