I posted a diary yesterday on Gallup's New Poll showing that 50% of Americans now support legalizing Marijuana with 46% opposing.
I didn't expect this issue would get much publicity in the MSM, and for the most part it didn't, but Lawrence O'Donnell hit one out of the park last night on The Last Word. He said it so much better than I could have ever imagined.
Now if we could just get a few politicians to watch this.
There were 853,358 Marijuana related arrests in 2010, and more than 20 million Americans have been arrested since the 1960's.
It's time we changed these laws and quit arresting and destroying the lives of so many of our fellow citizens.
