The elegance of the OWS movement is that it speaks to the real disgust of Americans who feel screwed over in so many ways...
It is simple, taken from what we learned in kindergarten. We should share, everything should be fair. People are sick of being victims in every aspect of their lives-financially, politically, socially...Jane is treated like a walking vehicle for carrying fetuses (no choice) and Dick loses his job in the financial arena while the big banks are bailed out and corrupt bosses still get raises. Politically we felt like we all worked so hard to elect "the Savior" (was that unrealistic or what?) and here we are, still under the thumbs of the 1%. We are overthinking this with the criticism "they need a concrete goal/message"...we have been made into single issue activists, we need to hang a banner on one thing when, in fact, it is the same umbrella overshadowing ever aspect of life.
