"It is being discussed," Cain's chief of staff Mark Block told Fox News on Friday, when asked if the campaign was considering suing Politico. "The Politico article, if it was held up to the same standards as the code of ethics of journalism, the people involved would be fired."
Let's see ... Politico reported that in the 1990's, Herman Cain was accused of sexual harassment while heading up the National Restaurant Association. He was, and $80,000 in payoffs were made. So, what would they sue for? Inconvenient reporting?
So much for all that alleged Republican hate for lawyers and lawsuits.

Joel Bennett, the lawyer for one of the women accusing Herman Cain of improper behavior, said he "expects to have an agreement" with the National Restaurant Association by mid-afternoon.
Asked if that means the association is going to release his client from her non-disclosure agreement to let her issue a statement, Bennett said he was still "in negotiations" on a sensitive matter and didn't want to say anything more until an agreement is "finalized."
