More states should legalize LGBT marriage. New York, Connecticut, Vermont and Rhode Island and Iowa have already created jobs for caterers, florists, musicians, DJ's, photographers, bridal store owners and bakers. Lesbian marriages will probably mean twice as much money spent on dresses and shoes.
All the right wingers have to do is look at the magazine rack and check out the several bridal magazines. Weddings are big business and the wedding industry could expand by 10% if LGBT marriage were legal in all states. The LGBT has significant buying power. Just ask wedding related industries in New York. California could reap jobs just by repealing prop 8.
If anyone wants to add details in the comments, feel free. I know this is slightly skimpy. I got the idea for this diary from a comment that someone made about the buying power of the gay community in another LGBT diary.
