I am talking about former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, brother of “WMD” former President George W. Bush (43). Now let me tell you what Jeb did for Florida so that you will have an idea of what he will do to America.
Meanwhile, if he could have, Jeb Bush would have relieved Florida’s wealthy persons and corporate entities of their entire tax burden. Tax loopholes created during his administration for corporate income now shelter between $500 and $600 million that was counted as revenue before. $600 million more was lost to the state when Bush eliminated the tax on intangible properties (stocks and bonds) in January 2007.
He also wanted to privatize the schools-starting a voucher system as well as the worst crap ever perpetrated on education: the dreaded FCAT test.
It had gotten so bad that teachers were there to teach students how to pass the FCAT-nothing else mattered (thanks to ole Jeb)
But the worst was yet to come! Because although term limits forced Jeb Bush to give up his Tallahassee office in 2006, it did not thwart his plan for turning the apparatus of state government into his own personal cash cow. First he put one of his stooges, Coleman Stipanovich, in charge of making decisions for the Florida Retirement System. Then he got himself a spot on the Board of Directors of Lehman Brothers.
Our Department of Children’s & Families now contract care of Florida’s disabled disadvantaged & abused children. There is a case now being investigated where the contracting agency gave custody of a 16 month old to his father that threw the toddler across the room onto a bed causing the toddler to hit his head on a Dresser. The impact fractured his skull.
These are a few things done by Jeb-The Man that would be President.
When you look at the pool of would be GOP candidates-nobody stands out. He was thought to be the Bush son that would one day be President.
I welcome you to disagree with me-please go ahead and do so.
