As I woke up this morning to read the GOP going nuclear in Wisconsin so that they could pass that collective bargaining bill and strip workers of their rights, a rage inside me started to appear. I wanted to scream and lash out at everyone that didn't vote in the mid-term election. I wanted to understand What the FUCK is going on in this country? Has this country gone completely insane? Is this what the country wanted when they went to the polls in november to give the keys back to the GOP? Is this the payback Progressives wanted against the democrats? Did the progressive/liberals/independents dislike obama so much that they allowed these radical fringe lunatics to infiltrate Washington DC as well as governor seats and state houses around the country just to prove a point? Didn’t the Republicans run on the mantra of CREATING JOBS?
As an independent who voted for democrats in the midterm, I politely got my wallet and donated money to the DNC and plan on going to a OFA meeting this weekend to start preparing for the 2012 election. I realized at this moment that this is not a war between Republican vs Democrats, or What President Obama did or didn't do. This is a war between CORPORATIONS vs MIDDLE CLASS WORKING AMERICANS and if we in this country don't wake up and see what is happening we will be living in a third world country where they will be 2 classes of people THE RICH and POWERFUL and POOR AND WEAK.
Since being sworned the radical fringe Republicans in Washington and around the country have done everything but create jobs that they ran on, and I can safely predict that the chickens will come home to roost for these radical assholes. Every single democrat/liberal/moderate/independent need to lock hands and come together to get these radical teabaggers out of office in 2012. Right now at this moment this is not about how you feel about President Obama and how dissatisfied you are with what he did or didn't do, but about keeping this country from going into a life of despair for middle class, minorities, seniors, poor and young people in this country
The democrats and president obama have enough ammunition to go after these bastards and permanently destroy their party. That should be the mission for everyone here and all over this country to remove these radical teabaggers because they are hell bent on destroying this country. The republicans have let the TEAPARTY infiltrate their ranks and their rational common sense, lets get something done thinking and they are making shocking radical decisions that no party would ever think of doing, not only in Washington but all around the country.
Lets take of a look at their destruction since being elected in January.
have attacked hispanics with these anti-immigration bills,
http://www.examiner.com/...
The South Carolina Senate passed an Arizona-style immigration bill during its overnight session, requiring law enforcement officers to ascertain the legal immigration status of suspects and prosecuting immigration-related offenses. After a routine vote the bill will go to the House, where it has been made it a top priority for this session and is sure to pass. Governor Nikki Haley will, of course, sign the bill, which not only demonizes people of Hispanic descent, but also increases business for private prisons

The state of Georgia's House of Representatives has passed an immigration bill known as the “Arizona copycat law,” which envisages extreme measures to be taken against undocumented immigrants.
The legislation, known as House Bill 87, cleared the House by a vote of 113-56 on Thursday, The Newnan Times-Herald reported.
The bill, sponsored by the Republican Representative Matt Ramsey, would require employers to verify workers' legal status using a federal database system called “E-Verify.”
Human rights and labor groups have described the bill, which also includes a measure allowing police to detain people they suspect of being undocumented immigrants, as racially motivated.
attacking women with these radical abortion bills
http://www.necn.com/...
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Lawmakers considering an Ohio bill that would outlaw abortions after the first medically detectable heartbeat heard testimony Wednesday from a pioneer of the modern anti-abortion movement and from a bill supporter whose mother had an abortion procedure while pregnant with her.

TALLAHASSEE - With a more conservative Legislature and abortion opponent Rick Scott replacing moderate Charlie Crist as governor, abortion foes in the Florida Legislature are proposing a new wave of abortion restrictions.
State Sen. Ronda Storms of Valrico has revived a bill passed but vetoed by Crist last year, requiring any woman who gets an abortion to have an ultrasound procedure first, and have a doctor review the results with her.
That bill, which Scott has said he wouldn't veto, is one of half a dozen or more abortion restriction bills filed in the past few days.
Another, by Rep. Dennis Baxley, R-Ocala, a veteran legislative religious right leader, calls for a vote in the 2012 general election on a constitutional amendment prohibiting use of public money for abortions.

Finally, the political facade is being melted away and many Americans are beginning to see Planned Parenthood for what it truly is. Thankfully, many more Americans are asking, "Why should we pay for this?" As Congressman Mike Pence so perfectly stated, "Let the abortion providers provide for themselves."
attacking Muslims by having these RADICAL hearings in Washington and also ANTI-MUSLIM protests in NYC because of the Mosque

“We’ve seen the consequences of anti-Muslim hate,” Ellison testified. “The best defense against extreme ideologies is social inclusion and civic engagement. … I fear these hearings may undermine our efforts in this direction.”
Attacking gays and lesbians and stomping on their constituation right to marry
http://www.reuters.com/...
The top Republican in the House of Representatives said on Friday he will seek to do what the Obama administration no longer does -- defend a 15-year-old federal law against same-sex marriage.
Speaker John Boehner said he disagrees with President Barack Obama's recent determination that the Defense of Marriage Act is unconstitutional, and will move to have the office of the House General Counsel defend it.
"The constitutionality of this law should be determined by the courts -- not by the president unilaterally," Boehner said in a statement.

Meanwhile, the American Foundation for Equal Rights, which is leading the charge against Prop 8, has asked that California's own marriage ban be lifted while the courts consider its legality. Prop 8 has already been declared unconstitutional, but weddings can't resume until appeals have been exhausted.
In response, the anti-gay industry has dug in its heels to denounce the country's shift towards equality. Last week, the National Organization for Marriage's Maggie Gallagher claimed that if gay couples are allowed to marry, then straight couples' children will be "produced in circumstances in which their mother and father are not pre-committed to caring for them."
attacking young people and their constitution right to vote
http://www.aacrao.org/...
A number of states throughout the country are currently considering bills that would limit students' ability to vote in their respective college towns, reports the Washington Post.
In New Hampshire, House Republicans proposed a bill that would only allow students to vote in their college town if they or their parents had previously established permanent residency there, requiring all others to vote in their home states or districts. Another bill would eliminate Election Day registration, a procedure that is known to produce higher turnout of young voters.
A Wisconsin bill would require voter identification in the form of a state driver's license, passport or military ID.
Supporters of such legislation argue that it will help to curb voter fraud, particularly in states that currently require no proof of identity to vote, and give long-term residents the voting weight they deserve. Students and other opponents are rallying and testifying against the proposed bills.
attacking unions (teachers, nurses, firefighters, police, garbage collectors, street sweepers)
http://www.necn.com/...
NECN/CNN/WLUK) - A surprise move by Republican lawmakers in Wisconsin has state Democrats scrambling, and workers rights protesters upset. Senate Republicans passed one of the most controversial parts of Governor Scott Walker's state budget proposal.
Tensions in Wisconsin spilled from the Senate chambers in Madison into the hallways and out into the parking lot Wednesday night.
After weeks of demonstrations republican lawmakers passed a key provision of governor Scott Walker's state spending plan.
Senate Democrats left the state three weeks ago to prevent the full bill from coming to a vote. Republicans passed a provision that restricts collective bargaining for union workers.
They did it by only voting on the non-financial parts of the bill, which requires fewer members. Governor Walker praised Republican lawmakers, saying they took necessary action.
http://www.npr.org/...
Teachers descended on the Tennessee state Capitol, many bused in by unions, to protest Republican-sponsored bills that would limit their collective bargaining rights. The president of the National Education Association, Dennis Van Roekel, even made the trek.
"We are here together," Van Roekel said. "We are one. Are we not? Yes we are.
So let me give you a summarization as to what the GOP/Teabaggers/Republicans are all about and the difference between a DEMOCRAT and REPUBLICAN
They have attacked blacks, the poor and the elderly by going after headstart, SS, Medicare, Medicaid, they have attacked young people by trying to pass anti-voting laws, they have attacked middle class working folks by trying to bust unions and go after their pensions, healthcare benefits, they have attacked muslims and the nation of islam by having these radical hearing in washington and demonizing their religion over the mosque in NYC, they have attacked gays and lesbians by going after marriage laws in individual states and trying to defend DOMA in courts, they are trying to GUT PBS, Planned Parenthood, Healthcare Reform, Wallstreet reform with CP and SEC, EPA, Energy, Mortgage assistance, Educational system and the list goes on and on. All they have catered too is RICH WHITE MEN/WOMEN and Corporations. Then you have some in some states trying to pass birther bill, currency changes and other radical ideology.
Hows' that grab ya? And this is just the dessert they have gotten to the full course meal.
What else will they have to do to wake everybody the fuck up?
This country better wake up and wake up fast or we are going to be living like we are in a third world country where it will be just the rich and powerful and the poor and weak. President Obama and the democrats in congress/senate need to make abundantly clear as we gear up for the next election that they will fight these radical republicans and that now they have a reason to fight because the american people have gotten to see with their own eyes what kind of party the GOP is. They are arrogant, hateful, uncaring, racists who who don’t give a damn about people. Is this what america has come too? Degrading and treating people like garbage who happen to look different, act different, who live different than you or have less money than you? Something has to give with this country and the people who live in it
The American people were DUPED into voting for these radicals in 2010 and it is my hope that the folks here and around the country who are/were disappointed in the democrats and president obama, wake up and get off your ass, donate to the DNC, DCCC, DSCC, OFA, President Obama, volunteer to register new voters, support the democratic party. If you don't, this country that you once knew will not be here for your kids and grandkids for them to work and have a decent life. If think this fight isn't worth it just think about your kids and grandkids who have to live here. We are in the fight of our life and at a critical stage right now and we in this party need to come together and fast because, we are all we got right now to fight these radicals. We can't win being divided. We saw that in the midterms. We have to stop demeaning each other and obama and support one another. President Obama isn't the enemy, the teabaggers are and we have to remember that. President obama can't fight this shit by himself. He told you all the repeatedly what would happen if he had to fight the GOP and now because his hands are tied he has to make cuts that are unpopular with his base, but what choice does he have. Shut the government down?
The democrats need to have the biggest turnout in decades in 2012. We need to really 'TAKE BACK OUR COUNTRY" from these radical fringes before they totally destroy everything in it path.
