Technically it was NOT M&I Bank per se that donated heavily to WI Gov. Scott Walker -- it was some of M&I's top executives who actually did the donating.
After the jump, let's consider how that fact might or should inform some of our direct actions in Wisconsin.
Seems to me that there's overwhelming consensus on our side that the current Republican putsch in Wisconsin and elsewhere is all about class warfare: we're under assault by the Koch Bros., their corporatist, billionaire brethren, and their teabag minions of functionally retarded dupes and tools.
It's all-too-easy to allow ourselves to end up slugging it out mainly with the latter, whether it be yelling at teabaggers or taking out a bank at which most "low-level" workers (which is, of course, MOST workers) probably did NOT donate to Walker.
Instead of duking it out with mainly with our sadly misguided fellow workers, how about focusing on making life as unpleasant as possible for the REAL bad guys -- bank exec's such as those who DID donate to Walker -- and who've gotten mega-rich while directly and indirectly destroying workers' lives everywhere.
How about going after the bastards where they live. Literally. I for one might really enjoy getting in the habit of picketing of assorted bankers' mansions.
What do others think?
Are there compelling reasons NOT to do this sort of thing?
Or is it truly time to "Eat the Rich, Feed the Poor"?
Please advise.
