I have a nightmare.

I awoke an hour ago with sharp warning buzzers in my head, and the realization that the pending Wisconsin Supreme Court election isn't really about the incumbent, David Prosser, who when not in re-election mode has not been all that bad.

The true nightmare scenario has Prosser resigning, either very soon, or in a few months, but in any case, in time for the Pigfucker Governor to make a 10 year appointment to complete the term.

At first, I figured Walker would dip in one of 3 pools, the Fetus crowd, the Corpos, or a Nixonoid law and order/Drugwar District Attorney. It gets worse. He can go for the Trifecta, by nominating Juneau County DA Scott Southworth,

Southworth last drew national attention a year ago, threatening to prosecute School Board members for allowing school staff to comply with State law mandating education on birth control.

The politically ambitious Southworth had previously teased, but not followed up on, a run for Congress against Democratic incumbent Ron Kind.
