I am wondering about the new MoJo system. And I doubt I am the only one. So, follow me to the depths below the fold to my question.
Ok, MoJo. My main modus operendi on here is to give recs on diaries during the day at work, but I cannot jump into comments. Sometimes, I will comment from home, but the bulk of my reading takes place during work breaks. I also toss out the occasional diary, but I would rather read those that I follow (love that feature) than write myself. My knowledge base is so much smaller than many here and I would rather learn than teach.
That said, in the old system, I floated back and forth from trusted user. But, looking at my MoJo now I am stuck at tier 2. Seems that's what mostly recs, occasional comments and diaries gets you. Personally, I wish I had more.
So, the question I have is if one rarely writes, but reads a lot and recs a decent amount, can one ever become a trusted user? Or are those like me stuck in mini-MoJo land? I like to think I read enough that I should have a larger voice to at least suggest, especially for those I follow who might have their diaries roll into the oblivion.
