Political undertones in the Bulls Vs. Pacer Match up
Barack Obama Vs. Mitch Daniels
Obama seems to emerge from the White House cocoon around major sports events. Not sure if we'd had any other Presidents in the past with similar pattern. Obama gets involved in words and actions. White Soxs, Bears, Bulls and Madness...... Bush was somewhat a sports fan, plus ownership in a team in the past seems to be the extent of his sports life. Very different perspective.
Not surprised Obama got somewhat in Ryans face with Budget issue. It play-off time. Most working jocks are discussing and debating about their favorite player, team and toughness of Conferences. Lost some of respect for Ryan. I like the fact that he put his neck out there..but complaining about the tone instead of arguing the substance of Obama's speech and budget showed he's still on the JV level. Obama gave some play-off caliber pushback. I guess that is what happens when Republican Presidential hopefuls leave a leadership vacuum. Their younger stars complain about elbows when the stakes get higher.
Bulls Vs. Pacers is interesting. Teams are somewhat a replica of the popular politician (Obama...Daniels not so much) from their home State. Can the Pacers defeat the Bulls that have a MVP candidate? Successful sport teams lift every part of their communities even Politicians. Mitch Daniels could gain a lot more from Pacers making an improbable run than Obama would if the Bulls did. Bulls are average when MVP candidate Rose is on the bench resting or in foul trouble aka Democrats san Obama's presence. When Obama goes on offense the Dems come alive! I wish more were like Anthony Weiner or Karl Rove. Always have their game-faces on.
