Here we are. The Pacific is being polluted with unknown levels of radiation. Who cares that the Orca of west coast fame is once again being exploited for the international audience of Sea World?
I'm at loss, which is rare, for words. Why do I need words for the obvious? We humans, as a result of our behaviour, are destroying the food supply for those who depend upon the ocean. While I believe that dependence upon fish for protein is at best unsustainable, recent events threaten the life of human societies who have not planned for any alternative.
Take a look on Google at the swirling mass of trash floating in the Pacific Ocean. Cruise ships pander to gluttons who have no conscience regarding their impact on the very breath of human life, our oceans. Fish and mammals are facing extinction.
Oh, you may call me an alarmist, an environmentalist of the radical persuasion? You do so at your own peril.
Only a fool ignores the facts of this destruction to our sources of survival.
I could link multiple sources to support my thoughts. From experience, that would be a waste of your time and mine. Many have shared the data, the facts, the history and the truth of this looming catastrophe. (fingers in ears, I can't hear you)
