Okay, so it's not the chalk. But Beck has been more whiny, tearful and vague these days than a whole stack of Air Supply albums. Here's the link:
Beck has drawn unprecedented ratings and attention to his time slot and to the channel, but he also became a lightning rod, drawing frequent and furious criticism for some of his statements and causing widely-reported tension behind the scenes at the network. Over 300 advertisersalso stopped airing their commercials on Fox News during Beck's hour.
I don't watch Beck beyond the occasional clip; he seems like Huey Long on meth. However, I wish him well in his personal life and would be glad to offer him a list of treatment options, for whatever he has been smoking.
Mind you, Beck is making a transition to a more behind-the-scenes role at FOX, where he will assist in the development of even more batshit products for the consumption of the 27% of the populace with a deep thirst for misinformation and authoritarianism.
Beck will leave the airwaves "later this year."
