Randall Terry is a pro-life activist former republican.
His pro-life advocacy will split the base and give more support to Obama if they push the issue, so I am not certain the democratic party will want to debate it but it is inevitable.
The odds seem stacked against Mr.Terry but remember when now President Obama took out the Clinton machine?
Obama certainly will probably look civil in stark contrast to Terry who may appear very radical but if Terry can effectively communicate the current economics in combination with his temperament he may stand a chance.
Randall Terry could have his experience attacked as well as his party affiliation and the recent switch he did to the Democratic party from Republican but Terry could reinvent his platform from Reagan Republican to radical "liberal" with a pro-life position and minimize the issue (doubt it).
I am bringing him up because he is clearly serious (raising money to air Superbowl ads) about attempting to discredit President Obama. He said at C-PAC he did not think he could win but what if due to economic strife he does pull a victory... anything is possible.
I mean if another candidate such as Jim Hightower runs it would increase further the chances Terry has.
A sizeable percent of democrats are pro life, pro-life democrats claim to represent 40% of the party (probably is closer to 30% however).
