While Democrats contemplate and/or celebrate and/or debate the demise of Osama Bin Laden under the leadership of President Obama, the Sunday Talk Show line-ups seem to indicate that The Villagers are getting all nostalgic for those heady days of codpieces, Mission Accomplished Banners, aluminum rods and Tora Bora.
That's right folks, it's Bush Time!
Wonk Room is reporting the talk show line-up for Sunday, May8th is as follows:
ABC’s “This Week” — National security adviser Tom Donilon; Pakistan’s ambassador to the U.S., Husain Haqqani; former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
_
NBC’s “Meet the Press” — Donilon; former Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff; former CIA Director Michael Hayden; former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
_
CBS’ “Face the Nation” — Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass.; former Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld.
_
CNN’s “State of the Union” — Donilon; Sen. Richard Lugar, R-Ind.; NATO’s secretary-general, Anders Fogh Rasmussen.

As Wonk Room points out, SEVEN Republicans are on the Sunday Talkies this week as opposed to TWO Democrats. FIVE of those Republicans are former Bush administrative officials.
Why am I surprised anymore?
