Putting these diaries together is more of a release for me than getting tips and rec's. I can't do much from over there in Los Angeles so this is my way of trying do something.

It is being reported today that the whole church may be demolished but nothing has be decided yet.

And the piles of rubble keep growing:
Almost 100,000 tonnes of debris from demolished homes has been dumped at a site near Christchurch - but that is only 10 per cent of the expected final amount.
Removing all the rubble from the city will take up to five years, the operators say.

Only 150 households outside of the cbd remain without power. Of course thats not much good if your house is munted but a huge relief to thousands of people who had been without power since Monday.
