Gulf Watchers Block Party - Bucket List la deuxième partie

It's Friday, and time for another Block Party...

I'm not sure if we've done this before, hence the designation of part two.
 - in French... I'm cooking bistro food tonight, and I'm feeling all Continental...

As I get older, the items on my "bucket list" seem to shift to different levels of importance, or even drop off altogether, and some I have achieved earlier than I expected.

One was hiking the Grand Canyon - did it in 1983, and by myself!

But I still need to eat my way through France, and make a trip to Middle Earth...well, New Zealand, really.

But my real dream thing has always been to build my own house with my very own hands - alternative construction methods of either cordwood masonry or earthbags. I'm getting up against the time limit of my own mortality here, but I always tell myself that Scott and Helen Nearing didn't build their first stone home in Vermont until Scott was 70! That means I have a few years, but I need to get cranking...

So, what's on your list? Is there anything you've already checked off? What's next? Got plans?
