Today's, far from uniquely misleading and intended provoke, headline and story presentation on the Ukrainian teen who was found murdered:
Conflicting Reports Over Death Of Katya Koren, 19-Year-Old 'Muslim' Beauty Queen, Emerge

This is the last straw for me, or the final impetus for me to act.
I am tired and sickened by the constant, ongoing, greed based, yellow journalism of The Huffington Post.
The story, whose headline is still "Teen Beauty Queen Reportedly Stoned To Death" on the front page, and whose link, the url, contains "katya-koren-teen-muslim-beauty-queen-stoned-to-death" is about a young woman who was actually killed by a "boyfriend" or stalker has the facts that it was a psychotic acquaintance, who raped her before killing her at the end of the story, has the fact that she wasn't Muslim at the end of the story, had the fact that it was a provocation to report the story this way at the end of the story, had the fact that this kind of action (even if she were a Muslim) is unknown in the Ukraine at the end of the story.
Comments, as usual, asking for the headline writers, story posters, yellow journalists to fix the headline, to rewrite the story to stop posting ugly untrue shock stories for clicks and ad revenue, are never allowed forward, never posted and deleted.
If this were one example, if it were the wrost example, if it didn't fall directly into the frame of racists, war mongers, bigots and faux news, it might be just a head shake.
But it is just one example of dozens a day, it is far from the worst example, it does bring smiles of approval, and posts of hared from the bigots, the jumped up militarists and republican hatred machine.
Yes the editor is nominally supportive of causes to the left, yes they post stories worth reading, yes they attack the dimwits of the right, yes they point out how dangerous much of the right and centre right is to America and the world, but the yellow journalism is an insult, that is little different from faux news, and is done for money, for clicks, for ad revenue and for readership based in pimped up controversy.
Shame on Huffington Post.
It is time to bring a public shaming of these practices forward: Arianna needs to be confronted in public appearances, it is time for articles, better written than this paltry diary, more prominent than my little corner.
Go look at this small, easily avoidable clarion call to racists, look at one of todays examples of Journalism for profit, another of Huffpo's yellow journalism; its disgusting.
And look at the posts that follow it, look at the bedbugs scurrying out to cast their filth, as they are called to do by Arianna's need for cash.
