I'm not a constant viewer of Morning Joe. It's just one of the news channels I flip through in the morning. In doing so this morning I noticed something that makes me wonder.
During their discussion of the debt ceiling fiasco and who may take the blame, the term "the freshmen in the House" was used in place of "Tea Party". This wasn't just by Joe Scarborough, as one would expect, but by John Heilemann as well. More of a coordinated or agreed upon effort.
Why do something so awkward and phony? I know, I know, I'm talking about Morning Joe so what else can I expect? My question is there is always a calculation when it comes to terminology with the right wing. So what is it?
