A cyber attack launched by US President Barack Obama has crippled servers throughout the domain house.gov, in an apparent Distributed Denial of Service (DDos) attack, Monday, 25 July 2011.
As of 11:00 pm EDT, websites such as johnboehner.house.gov were reportedly unavailable, as this screen capture shows

Presumably millions of computers located in the United States have flooded the servers of the domain house.gov after the president launched a prime-time call for the DDoS attack to commence.
Security experts are calling this the first cyber warfare attack launched by one branch of the U.S. Government against another branch.
It is not clear whether the FBI is currently investigating the event.
UPDATE #1: 10:51 PM PT: Reports are coming in that House.gov is back up and counter-attacking.
johnboehner.house.gov appears to be live at this time.
