That's it. Entitlements are totally screwing us. I've heard everyone say it. We can't pay them, and there are too many of you freaking freeloaders destroying our economy.
I listened to our President talk about hard looks and considerations to be made with them. I heard the Speaker of the House talk about how it didn't go far enough and we needed to think about real cuts to them.
And you know what, maybe they are right. I sat back and thought about this, and I'm convinced. All you freeloaders need to go.
I want to say up front, there are a few things that we can't really touch. Just because, you know, they are important.
I've got a special needs family member. So, I have to point out: you can't really touch SSI. I'd probably go bankrupt without it. And, I mean, come on, that can't be good for the economy. If a lot of people like me go bankrupt, that means someone lost money.
Oh. And I have two family members with learning disabilities. And I know a lot of other people like that too, so special education at schools have to be funded. Without special education, what are you planning to do with these people? Special ed, and they can become contributing members to society. But without it? You're just creating a huge mountain of people that have nowhere to go. That costs more. So leave that one alone.
Oh, and discounted lunches at school. I mean, nobody wants the kids to starve, so let's keep that one too.
I live in a suburban kind of community, and we do get federal money to keep up "The Nations Main Street" or Ward Parkway, which is from President Truman. That helps attract some tourism, lots of businesses there, so I don't want those businesses out of work. That can't be good.
I have friends and family who were left homeless out of Joplin, Missouri who are dealing with FEMA, so that thing has to keep going.. I don't want any of them homeless.
Three family members in the military, so they definitely need paid, and benefits, so we have to hold onto that too.
Oh, damnit! That reminds me of something - I have a family member who is a multiple purple heart. He still gets disability money. That really can't go away, Vets deserve that. Even more: some of his good friends now work at the post offices near here. I know a bunch are closing, but come on, they've got to have jobs.
But as to everything else, you know, anything that isn't medicaid, medicare, SSI, road maintenance, job creation, military pay and salaries, veterans benefits and post offices, and school lunches and schools.
I'm thinking. Maybe a few other things.
But you know, all those things that I don't like. You know the stuff. Those things that we spend tons of money on for those other people. Those people that I don't like or know. I want all of those programs gone. FORTHWITH. Right NOW. Bunch of freeloaders on programs I haven't heard of. You're the reason why I'm worried SSI benefits aren't going to keep up with treatment costs. And why my post office might close.
I don't know what you're receiving, but I'm betting it's none of what I'm receiving. And if you're receiving more then that, well that's some damn unamerican shit going on right there.
I'm just saying. I've had it.
Freeloaders.
