They won. Will they pretend they didn't?

says he's been told as many as 100 House Republicans could vote agains the debt deal, meaning Democrats would need to provide as many as 76 votes in order to save the country from default.
I'm not sure Karl's numbers are right: according to The Hill, Allen West is supporting the debt deal which suggests there might not be the same tea party exodus that we saw in the FY2011 funding bill. The Hill also hasn't noted any opposition yet from House Republicans who voted for the Boehner bill last week.
But even Republicans oppose their own fiscal plan, they don't appear to have much to fear, as Steny Hoyer told Chuck Todd that at least 66 House Democrats will support it.
And that, my friends, would be a thrilling bipartisan victory.
9:04 AM PT: Looks like Karl's source wasn't on target: The House will vote before the Senate on the deal, suggesting Republicans are confident most of their membership will support it.
