At least something good came out of the god awful Citizens United decision...
Per WSJ :
In his first ad of the 2012 presidential race, Stephen Colbert is using his new Colbert Super PAC to poke fun at Texas Gov. Rick Perry.
The satirist and cable TV host announced Monday his political action committee would run ads for Mr. Perry on Wednesday in Iowa .
Colbert Super PAC unveiled the ad Wednesday evening. It urges Iowans to write in Rick Parry — not Perry — Saturday at the Iowa Straw Poll in Ames.
Here is the ad:
“Out of state groups like Grow PAC and Jobs for Iowa PAC are flooding the Iowa airwaves, telling you to vote Rick Perry at the Ames Straw Poll. They think they can buy your vote with their unlimited super PAC money,” Mr. Colbert, host of the Colbert Report on Comedy Central, says. “We want you to vote for Rick Perry too, but not their Rick Perry, our Rick Parry. On August 13th, write in Rick Parry. That’s Parry with an A for America, with an A for Iowa.”
An image of the Texas governor holding a handgun then appears on the screen. The ads will run in the Des Moines area, a press release says.
Mr. Colbert launched his campaign group earlier this year as a way to mock so-called super PACs, which can raise and spend unlimited sums. Several such groups have formed to promote a Perry presidential run, though the Texas governor has not yet officially declared his candidacy. Mr. Perry is expected to make clear that he will seek the White House during a Saturday speech in South Carolina.
Campaign finance law prohibits outside groups from coordinating with candidates, which is why Mr. Colbert says he misspelled the Texas governor’s name.
“To prove we’re truly uncoordinated, we’re asking voters to write in Parry with an A,” the comedian says in a press release. “You can feel confident he’s not asking us to do that.”
Mr. Perry’s supporters have urged state Republicans to write in Mr. Perry’s name at Ames this weekend.
A question to the state GOP on its spelling rules wasn’t immediately returned.

Yeah, this is going to be so awesome. I cannot wait for more ads to come out of him, because I know they're going to be so funny.
