What I've been waiting for! Interview with one of the plaintiffs and a Human Rights Watch attorney. Gotta love DemocracyNow
The story he's telling is a bit different from what's been coming out, for better or for worse there's less about being denied Green Zone access and instead something about an arranged abduction and subsequent rescue by special forces?
SWEET JEBUS! Is it possible there are Wikileaks crossreferences to be found for this incident?
Also I was beginning to worry that 'torture' is a bit of a misnomer, although it would surely hold in court that any illegal detention under unusual and intentionally uncomfortable circumstances is torture, but his description of the use of 'walling' sounds like the physical abuse that the public will readily take offense to.
Please help research this case more, and please show support for these plaintiffs! Check out my original posting for more details on how to contact and assist the less public case which also recently won the right to proceed against Rumsfeld.
Please crosspost or comment any information or other diaries you can come up with!
