Hey y'all. It's Friday night and it's time for a block party. In light of Bob Cavnar returning to Countdown Wednesday to talk about the Department of Interior's final report on the BP Macondo blowout, I ought to be doing a serious post. But, well, I'm on the road again -- it's not quite the seashores of Old Mexico, though. In fact, while you're reading this, I'm currently somewhere en route to Houston, on my way to visit the Johnson Space Center at the NASA complex with my USS Lone Star and USS Diamondback crewmates.
On the other side of the orange Botts' Dot ...
here's a movie about being on the road -- through time and space.
We've been invited to the commissioning dinner for a brand-new Starfleet chapter Saturday night after the NASA tour. I'm also hoping to get to theHouston Zoo and perhaps The Aquarium, although we don't know whether it'll be theKemah Boardwalk version or the downtownlocation with the white tiger exhibit.
Y'all have fun, and think kind thoughts for our brothers and sisters and furred folk ... I know there's a boycott going on, but c'mon, y'all: this is Friday night!
... Party ON ...
