There it is.
The 39-second ad appears to be set on a slave ship called the "U.S.S. Obamaboat," which flies an upside-down American flag and is filled with a cast of characters that includes bailed-out bankers, health-care freeloaders, Guy Fawkes, corporate fat cats, and a blond woman in a bathtub who says "stimulated" in a way that made us vaguely uncomfortable.
As if this horrible video isn't enough,
It might also be fun to hop over to YouTube to check out the video comments -- Oxner's staff appears to be dishing out sassy replies to commenters. Oxner said in a news release that he'd "be releasing several more like this over the coming months." We can't wait.
transcript over the filigree.
The video also includes shots of children rowing the boat while a man holding a whip watches closely.
Woman: "I just love this ship!"
Other woman: "I got corporate subsidies just last week!"
Yet anther woman: "I got free healthcare for life!"
Man: "My bank was bailed out by this ship."
Breathless Blonde Woman, suggestively: "This ship stimulated my husband's solar company."
Older woman: "How did this boat pay for all this stuff?"
Angry Captain Obama, with Grayson as parrot: "NO questions on this ship!!"
then we cut to a boat of raggedy children, rowing, "Earn, earn, earn! Don't you care about the banks? Don't you care about the 99%? Earn, earn, earn!"
voiceover: "Let's not enslave our children with debt. It's time to turn this ship around."
Slave ship? Really??
I can think of one response that will be understood by all involved, the one right response to this: click here to donate to Alan Grayson, via ActBlue. Thanks.
