Darden Restaurants, which is the parent company to Red Lobster, Olive Garden and Lone Star Steak House has said they are starting a pilot program to shift more workers to part time from full time status due to health care costs anticipated when the new ACA rules begin next year. All of these restaurants have been steadily losing business over the last several years, and they have plans to cut their costs even further by using tip sharing, which shares waitresses' tips with busboys and dishwashers so that they may be paid a far lower hourly rate...because they get tips. They are also actively recruiting younger, new workers and starting them at a far reduced pay rate.

Darden states they are doing this to "give employees more options"...I guess options like "work somewhere else" , or "live on a lot less money".
Of course, they will blame Obama for this.
