You don't have to out-bully him, but you do need to confront him. "Bully" is a metaphor for the dark forces that a president will face. So when the president backed down in the first debate, the impression was "the bully can keep us safer than Obama."
Let Mitt bully all he wants, but come back with:
"Here's the problem, Mitt: America won't recover with bluster alone.
Let me explain..."
(below)
"Like the Bain guy he was, Mitt Romney will say anything to close the deal and win. But then what? Is bluster a plan? Where have we seen that before? (GWB). And after Mitt closes the deal, what happens to America? A guy whose state, Mass, was 47th in job creation--but he's going to create 10 million jobs. Sounds good, right? How? By adding to military spending...and tax cuts we can't afford. He's surrounded by advisers who are itching for a new war--is that what you want? Is that what the military wants?
ALL of his ideas are wrong: wrong on Detroit, wrong on immigration (at least last week!), wrong on woman's rights (at least last week!), wrong on health care (at least last week). From a party that fought two wars on a credit card and gave us a drug plan on a credit card, he's applying for a new credit card made out to USA--and who will pay the credit card bill? Well, his party believes in gutting Medicaid, Medicare. but that still won't pay the credit card of extra military spending and a new war. (Like Goldwater would have done) This week, Mitt likes every aspect of Obamacare except paying for it--and though he asked for 10 years of Ryan's tax returns, he won't show us his own. He paid 15% taxes and believes middle class, 47% of whom are lazy, should pay more.
You can raise your voice and talk as loud and fast as you want, Mitt. You have no ideas for this country--except recycled ones that beat this country down.
Give us all the bluster you want, but you don't have a plan. Well, every week you have a plan--different and opposite from the week before, but flailing is not a plan. And again, Mass was 47th in job creation. They are overwhelmingly against you. Beware of those who know you best."
