Hi, well, this isn't a diary as much as a reprint from the unitewomen.org site. And I have to be off and about, so I won't be minding the diary. But I wanted to share this, hopefully, wonderful news about her condition:
"Malala Yousufzai is recovering and doctors said that her condition is satisfactory, SAMAA reports on Sunday."
More below the fold:
‘This evening the medical board checked Malala again and said that her condition was satisfactory’, he said.
The decision on whether to remove the ventilation and move her to Dubai is yet to be taken, military spokesman Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa said, while talking to SAMAA.
He said an air ambulance was on standby to fly her abroad in emergency as the board has not yet decided on it, keeping in view her improvement. (Dubai has sent an aircraft that is on standby to remove Malala from Pakistan & bring her to Dubai for medical care)
"The sedation given to Malala was reduced on Saturday so that neurosurgeons could do their clinical assessment and as a result of it Malala responded and moved her hands and feet," Bajwa said.
"It is a positive development," Bajwa told reporters in AFIC, where Malala is being treated in a military hospital.
"It is a case of serious head injury and the progress is very slow.:
