While CEO's Siegel and Allen are threatenign to fire their staff if, God Forbid, Obama wins there is another threat afoot.
It turns out some employers are threatening to pull back on health insurance if Obama wins and ObamaCare isn't killed.
I am part of a community dogpark in Philadelphia where there is much political chatter during the busy dog walking hours. Two of our members have reported a disturbing trend - each of their employers, both working for shops of around 25 employees, have informed employees that if ObamaCare is not repealed the employer will be forced to serioiusly curtail their healthcare benefits. One of the employers told the staff that important parts of the provided healtcare benefit's package would no longer be available if the repeal didn't take place. When pressed for specifics as to "why?" the employer couldn't/wouldn't explain. Both employers basically let the employees know that if Obama was to win that they could expect their benefits to be cut and/or curtailed.
Is this a trend or a talking point? Should it be counterpunched?
