This isn't much of a diary, but this ad just came across my newsfeed and I thought I'd share it. Some of my favorite people--Jane Lynch, George Takei, Wanda Sykes, among others--have appeared in this video in support of President Obama. In it, they highlight the sweeping, yet fragile, progress that has been made under the Obama administration for LGBT equality, and what that progress means to them as LGBT Americans. They also remind us of what we already know: that a Romney presidency would be a disaster for LGBT people and our civil rights. Other famous LGBTs in the ad include Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Billie Jean King, Zachary Quinto, and Chaz Bono.
I really love this ad and couldn't agree with it more wholeheartedly.
Here it is:
The choice really couldn't be clearer for LGBT Americans, their allies, and anybody concerned at all about equality and basic human dignity. I couldn't be prouder to support the President.
