Among Mitt's many evasive and out-of touch responses to questions during the 2nd presidential debate, one that has ticked off more than a few single parents came when a questioner brought up gun control. Never addressing the actual question asked ("What would you do to cut down on assault weapons?"), Romney's non-responsive answer wandered hither and yon - landing ultimately on the travesty of single parenthood. He finished this meandering non-answer by suggesting that a real and viable solution to gun violence rests in assuring that children be raised by two parents.
His obvious implication was that being raised in a single-parent home explained a lot as to what leads somone to go on a shooting spree.
Join me below for evidence of what a steaming pile of BS his theory is.
1999, April - 13 killed & 24 injured at Columbine High School
Both shooters raised in two-parent families

Shooter Larry Gene Ashbrook raised in a two-parent family

*As a child Cho was bullied by classmates and also by wealthy church members

With a shout-out to all you dedicated single parents, I rest my case.
