IMPORTANT UPDATE x3: I just received an email from Clay Bennett himself, explaining how the cartoon got into the wild without being posted to the Chattanooga Times website and requesting that I do what I can to direct traffic there now that it is posted. He was extremely gracious and thankful for the exposure, but does understandably want his employer to receive as much of the traffic for this as possible.
As Mr. Bennett put it, "I realize that the barn door may already be wide open for this horse, but I figure it couldn't hurt to ask for a link to the institution that is as responsible for the creation of this cartoon as I am."
So, I would urge anyone still reading this diary to please also click this direct link to the Chattanooga Times Free Press site (and, more importantly, to use this link whenever spreading the word about this particular comic). It's the right thing to do.
Just saw this posted on Facebook--it's a political cartoon by
Clay Bennett of the Chattanooga Times Free Press. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find it on the newspaper's site itself to link to,
even in the extensive archives, so I'm reposting it here, but will remove it, change the link or change the attribution or whatever if necessary (I'm sure someone here will let me know if I need to do so).
Anyway, it's amazingly simple but utterly brutal:
On a related note, the "complete" set of Volumes I - III of the Republican Rape Advisory Chart is now available in one handy, vomit-inducing graphic (click to view full-size...it's too large to fit properly here):
Volume I
Volume II
Volume III
Volumes I - III (3 Columns)
Volumes I - III (Single Column)
Update: Thanks to several folks for making link suggestions to a) give Mr. Bennett more exposure and b) to make it easier to make this cartoon go viral:

Here's the direct link to the Facebook post where I discovered it...unfortunately they have his name down as "Chuck" Bennett, but whatever...
Also, regarding the GOP Rape Advisory Charts: After several days of feeling squeamish about whether to attach my name to these charts or not, a female friend said that I should just go ahead and "own it", so I'm doing so--the versions linked to above all include my name at the bottom.
Of course, the first chart has been reposted/retumblered/retweeted so many times by now (including people downloading/re-uploading their own versions) that it's unlikely to make much difference at this point, but that's OK as well.
Update x2: I just uploaded my own take on the issue (click to view--I decided this diary is getting too cluttered to post it here)
