I just caught five minutes of an interview on ATC with Mara Liasson. First, she was asked whether the effect of the first debate was overestimated, in light of events since. "Oh no," said Megyn, I mean Mara. "You cannot overestimate the huge effect of the Denver Debate in changing the dynamic of the campaign, even now."
She continued, "This is just as the Romney campaign planned. To do well at the debates and then spend a lot of money at the end. The Obama campaign knew they had to spend money early because they faced the problem of a terrible economy."
The liberal NPR strikes again.
I just made 50 Ohio calls. Thanks, Mara!
