Mountains of debt, threats to our sovereignty, chipping away at your rights, chipping away at your freedom. And now, they’re attacking our Second Amendment rights, but you can stop them right now. Defend freedom, defeat Obama.
The National Rifle Association is out with a totally-not-hyperbolic-or-in-any-way-ridiculous ad, and
ZOMG!!!!!, it is so super scary. "They" are doing ominous, vague things to you and your freedoms, and the only way to stop "them" is to defeat Obama because otherwise, debt! Sovereignty! Stuff!
Obviously, the NRA has a long list of examples to show exactly how the Obama-led "they" are attacking our Second Amendment rights. Here it is in full:
[Crickets]
Oh, wait, what? The president hasn't actually done anything to chip away at Second Amendment rights? Ha! That's just what he wants you to think. Because not doing anything to take away your rights is part of a chess-jujitsu-Jedi mind trick thing because the president is all sneaky like that. No,
really:
“In public, he’ll remind us that he’s put off calls from his party to renew the Clinton [assault weapons] ban, he hasn’t pushed for new gun control laws … The president will offer the Second Amendment lip service and hit the campaign trail saying he’s actually been good for the Second Amendment.”
“But it’s a big fat stinking lie!” the NRA leader exclaimed. “It’s all part of a massive Obama conspiracy to deceive voters and destroy the Second Amendment in our country.”
“Obama himself is no fool. So when he got elected, they concocted a scheme to stay away from the gun issue, lull gun owners to sleep and play us for fools in 2012. Well, gun owners are not fools and we are not fooled,” La Pierre declared.
See? What more proof do you need? That the president hasn't actually done anything to restrict Second Amendment rights proves that he is
totally working to restrict Second Amendment rights once he's lulled the nation into a false sense of security.
Don't be lulled, Americans! Act now to defend freedom and stop Obama from not attacking Second Amendment rights before he not-attacks them right out of existence.
