(I know I'll get a bunch of people giving me all sorts of reasons why this won't work.)
The psychological impact of lower prices at the pump may or may not have an effect on election day; and it certainly will not hurt the President if prices drop a bit.
I drive a hybrid, so I get about 47 to 54 MPG.
But reducing my small part is still something I can do and plan to do, by not filling up after the 15th. If a couple of million other people join me, I'd think there would be marked effect on the supply chain in the short term, and prices at the pump.
Something to think about in the next four weeks, perhaps.
