As we can see, Republicans are starting to catch up a bit with Democrats on returned ballots. Yesterday the ratio of returned ballots was 1.41 Dem to 1 Rep. Today it's 1.31 to 1. But looking at these numbers, you don't really get the sense that Republicans in Iowa gained a huge amount of enthusiasm from the debate. I mean, do you?
I think tomorrow's numbers will be even more important in telling us if there was a lasting impact from the debate as far as enthusiasm goes.
