Will someone please explain to me this Benghazi thing. I know that Fox is still bringing it up for their nefarious reasons, but I don't completely understand Benghazi.
I know the obvious: the accusations are that the WH didn't want to call it a terrorist act, since that would make them look weak- not having the terrorist problem under control. (As if GW had the terrorist problem under control and Fox and the GOP never had to criticize GW for that.)
I understand the lack of security issue, but wasn't a UN building destroyed in Iraq and several UN workers were killed as well as the chief diplomat? And lack of security is not good, but it's not like Obama sits their running the State Dept. himself 24 hours a day. I believe he has some other President-ing to do. Etc.
Am I imagining this or is their more outrage from Fox and the GOP over 4 dead in Benghazi than there ever was for over 4000 dead in Iraq- or even for the intelligence lapses that resulted in 9/11?
I would appreciate if someone could bring up a convincing point in this Benghazi issue- or let me know if this is anything more than feigned outrage. Thanks.
