Not sure if this should be a "Breaking" diary. It is certainly something to be concerned about. If even 10 percent of those currently without power are still without power 1 week from now when this new storm hits, then the election is the last thing we need to worry about.

Another storm coming? Forecasters say nor’easter may hit East Coast late next week
THURSDAY, 01 NOVEMBER 2012 20:23
The storm may affect the regions anywhere between "Election Day (Tuesday) into next Thursday," the National Weather Service's prediction center said in a statement Thursday afternoon.
"Increasing winds along coastal New England and coastal Mid-Atlantic states Tuesday onward may lead to some coastal flooding and beach erosion," it added.
Forecaster Bruce Sullivan told the Huffington Post that the storm wouldn't be as bad as Superstorm Sandy and isn't tropical. But it could include snow in interior New England and New York, beach erosion and high winds for areas hit by Sandy and moderate or heavier rainfall. Winds could be about 30 to 40 mph.
As I diaried earlier, now that we are starting to see concerns about water quality and fuel shortages another winter storm will make the recovery efforts (and the humanitarian needs to meet) that much greater.
