Look, I know this isn't the most important thing on everyone's mind, and yes, there are bigger battles to fight. But sometimes there's something very easy to do that makes a small difference. And to me, that's worth the time.
I admit to having an allergy to the Donald. He makes my skin crawl and my brain itch. It is totally disgusting that he has the platform he does. Think about what so many smarter, better people could do with the amount of media time he gets and your skin will be crawling too.
Now Macy's has decided to include him in their holiday campaign---taking on Kris Kringle from Miracle on 34th Street, sadly photo shopped into this ad so the Donald can blow his rancid BS at a true American icon.
It's not funny, it's not relevant, and it's not acceptable. But unless we let Macy's know the price for their cynicism, their lack of finger on the pulse, their 10 years too late bid to make the Donald funny, this man will continue to fleece the American public under its biggest retail banners.
Imagine if you will, ANY spokesperson for the left being prominently included in a major retailer's pitch, let alone an idiot of the dimensions of the Donald.
Let Macy's know who we think the Grinch really is, and that we don't appreciate one more dumber than dirt company that thinks Americans don't notice when they mix politics and business. Did I mention I'll not EVER be ordering a Papa John's pizza again?
It's a small thing, but sometimes the best things come in small packages. And for me, the rejection of Donald Trump is a gloriously huge small thing,

Update: A commenter here has suggested I include Macy's direct e-mail and I agree. So here it is: http://www.macysinc.com/.... Never done an update before, hope this works.
And hat tip to Ms. Denise Oliver Velez, here's Macy's corporate number: 212-494-3000
