So, you are going to vote for Mitt Romney? A guy I would not buy a used car from. This is a man who has made a living off of sucking the life out of American businesses and tossing those businesses and workers aside after he has drained them of capital.
A man who claims he is going to, “get tough on China,” when his entire career has been built on shipping American jobs to China. Seriously? You trust this man to do right by the American worker? A man who has said he would support a national right to work law; keep that in mind if you are in a union and planning on voting for Romney. If you are in a union I would suggest you ask yourself why you would vote for a man who wants to take your rights away. Seriously, what benefit can you possibly see to giving up your rights to collectively bargain? Do you really think that will create more jobs? Are you that fucking stupid? The only people to benefit under right to work laws are the rich. They will not create more jobs, no; they will cut your wages so that their profits can go up and into their pockets.
You say you are afraid that President Obama is going to take your guns. Really…you are actually buying that line of bullshit? Has the President done anything to take your guns away in the last four years? Nope, in fact, he has actually increased your rights, the only gun-control laws he has signed as president have been to expand gun rights – allowing guns on national park lands and Amtrak trains. He also said this year “hunting and shooting are part of a cherished national heritage.” That stupid meme being pushed by the NRA about a U.N. treaty taking away second amendment rights? Please, no treaty can override the U.S. Constitution or U.S. laws.
What about the cuts to our military you say? Romney says our Navy is smaller today than it was in 1916. Really? We had 245 ships of various types in 1916. In 2011 we had 285. Do we have fewer Battleships, Gunboats, Monitors, Steel Gunboats and Torpedo Boats, yes, we most certainly do. But, we do have more Aircraft Carriers and Nuclear Submarines.
Mitt is wrong on the number of ships we have and he claims that military spending cannot be cut, it must be increased. We must defend ourselves. Really? The United States spends $700 billion a year or 4.8% of our GDP on defense. China, which spends the second most on defense, spends just a little over $100 billion a year or 2.1% of their GDP. I ask you, just who in the hell do you think would be dumb enough to attack the United States? There is no power on the world stage that could or would attack us without being wiped out. We could cut our defense budget in half and would still outspend China, Great Britain, France, Russia, and Japan combined. Unless you have a line on some space aliens that have a target on us I really cannot fathom any reason for a $700 billion defense budget.
Romney would be tougher on foreign policy than President Obama. Uh-huh…a man who thinks Mali is in the Middle East (It isn’t; it is in Africa), that Syria is Iran’s route to the sea, ignoring the fact that the Syria and Iran do not share a border and that Iran has over fifteen hundred miles of coastline on the Persian Gulf. Not only does he not know geography he also thinks that Russia is our single biggest geopolitical threat today. You actually believe in this guy?
Mitt Romney seems to think that all of our country’s economic problems can be solved by cutting taxes. That cutting taxes will magically create jobs, decrease deficit spending and eliminate the national debt. There must be magical pixie dust in those tax cuts that came from sugar plum fairy world because in the real world that math just doesn’t add up. We do not have a spending problem in this country we have a revenue problem brought on by the ill-advised Bush tax cuts and two wars that were funded by credit card.
I hear you echoing the cries of Senator Mitch McConnell by screaming that President Obama should only be a one term President. You cheer on the GOP and their blocking judges from being appointed, from legislation being passed all to make the President look bad. If a Democrat stated that his intent was to make a Republican President a one term President there would be cries of, "TREASON," from the right.
Now, as I stated earlier, I would not buy a used car from Mitt Romney and you want to elect this man President? Well, if that is the case, I have this nice oceanfront property to sell you in Arizona.
