As the Romney-Ryan Real Recovery Road Rally races around the country in a last-ditch effort to roll out a few hundred more lies, false promises, and outrageous assertions, one can't help but notice that Mittens sure loves seeing that letter "R".
Ridiculous? Perhaps so, but remember: The Romney-Ryan regional rampage reflects a ruthless Randian return to robber-baron rule, rejecting regular folks in favor of a rich reigning-class. Repudiating their reported religious beliefs, Romney and Ryan long to roll back rights, reverse progress, and engender reverence for the righteous "job creators" on whose mercy we rely.
Under their rapacious plans, rag-tag rabble (who reject personal responsibiltiy) would roam rainy railyards, living on ramen noodles, and dying of respiratory ailments. Meanwhile, the rich would regale themselves in their resplendent residences, relishing their roast beast repasts, reveling in their refinement. Outside their reinforced gates, the ravenous riff-raff are repelled by rifle-toting regiments retained to repress revolutionaries.
As a rip-roaring Robin to Romney's reprobate Batman, Ryan reassures his Randian role-model that her remorselessly repressive realm is nearing reality. Ripping holes in the already-ravaged safety net, Ryan's regime relegates millions to a reversal of fortune; resignation to a perpetual rat-race.
Meanwhile, despite his reprehensible Rovian tactics, Romney has riled some Republicans with his raging rejection of reality, his restless ravings, his rampant ruthlessness. Roundly repudiated as a regrettable replacement for a real Republican, Romney recoils as ringing endorsements roll in for his redoubtable opponent.
As President Obama reassures rain-soaked residents, restores confidence, cuts red tape, and redoubles government rescue and restoration efforts, Romney and Ryan reject Red Cross regulations and require rally attendees to roll up their sleeves and relay relief supplies to the rumbling Romney-Ryan Rallymobile.
Remaining "undecideds" have a choice: radical, reprehensible Right-wing rhetoric, or respectful, resourceful, and resolute progress. Really.
