John Boehner's credibility is going down fast but it appears he's not going down without a fight. Goodness, even William Kristol is more civil.

President Obama and House Speaker John Boehner just can't seem to break through an impasse in their "fiscal cliff" talks, increasing pessimism about a deal by Christmas and now threatening to sidetrack billions in federal aid for victims of superstorm Sandy.
"It's still a work in progress," Obama told reporters today of the prospect of a deal.
After weeks of public posturing and private negotiations, both sides remain firmly dug in with their opposing positions on tax hikes and spending cuts for deficit reduction.
"The president wants to pretend spending isn't the problem," Boehner said at a morning press conference. "That's why we don't have an agreement."
House Republicans are demanding significant changes to entitlement programs to curb spending, which Democrats flatly oppose. The White House, invoking the president's re-election and public opinion polls on its side, still insists there will be no deal without a tax-rate increase on the top 2 percent of U.S. income-earners.
Actually, House Speaker Boner, President Obama has been very fair on this whole fiscal cliff issue. The reason why you guys don't have an agreement is one of the following:
1) You're a fool and you are not open to new information. You also don't understand the real world. If there's anyone who is to blame for the fiscal cliff problems, it's you. Your party got the U.S. into this mess in the first place and now you have the nerve to tell the Democratic Party and President Obama (as well as Vice President Biden) that you care about balancing the deficit?
2) You also are pandering to the big businesses that support you. Nothing else. Seriously, prior to this whole fiscal cliff issue, you were a shoo-in for even re-election in 2014. Even if you resigned and tried to do something else in your life, you could have gone into business. Even started your own club. However, your reputation is tarnished and I'm afraid
Now's the time the Democratic Party start floating names of candidates who will challenge John Boehner in 2014. They don't have to ask people run right away but we need to start thinking of names. Yes, Boehner lives in a very red district in Ohio, probably the reddest district in the state but again, this is Ohio. It isn't Oklahoma.
Anyway, I'm a bit frustrated more than anything else. We're supposed to have leaders that represent us, right?
In the meantime, let's continue to phone bomb John Boehner's lines:
