The house is elected by Congressional DISTRICTS that represent several hundred thousand voters . Having a house majority does NOT mean that party represents the majority of the electorate. In fact, Statewide (Senate), and Countrywide (President) races showed the Republicans to be the minority party.
Meanwhile, they have been using partisan redistricting to protect their house seats. Think of the incumbent congressional democrats that were forced to battle EACH OTHER this cycle because one of their districts had been eliminated. The converse of that? The republicans picked up a seat in Congress.
Then, state legislatures do their dangdest to disenfranchise the opposition. Even Pennsylvania for crissakes. In the name of "electoral fraud".
Had we put Romney in the White House and he had appointed that right wing Supreme Court justice? All those voter suppression laws would have been deemed constitutional.
You think we have a dictatorial House? We'd have become a dictatorial COUNTRY.
And THEY are the ones that call Obama the threat to the constitution??????
