I just happened to catch this story on Flipboard, while I was waiting at the tire shop, this afternoon. I may find it personally difficult to comment about the news - "considering" - but in it being an item of regular public news, I think it may be well worth sharing the news item, as it being a plain human interest item, in contemporary events. The headline reads: Afghans, Taliban, U.S. in three-way talks that offer 'best chance' for peace, and that item is carried by Public Radio International.
I don't think I can expect it to hit the pundit circuits, right offhand - "Call it a hunch," that, but who knows. Myself, I think I'd like to call home about it, shortly - but, of course, I know that there's a whole lot of official work that would have to be conducted before peace (and maybe some ceasefires and such) might be officially declared in Afghanistan, assuming (I hope, rightly) that it could be heading that way.
I think that even a hint of peace in that region is inspiring, and I personally like the look of it, "Considering."
Cheers, reader - presently, cheers from somewhere in the Midwest. Have a nice weekend.
