and the folks here in Chicago are loving it.
We hit 79 degrees F today at O'hare. This makes four records in a row, 81, 81, 82 and 79 and further records are forcast through the middle of next week.
Every winter it is not unusual to see some warm weather. The record warmth comes in from the South usually on strong winds and it never lingers anywhere near this long.
This is new. This has never happened. This is climate change.
Sat Mar 17, 2012 at 10:12 PM PT: In response to the comment noting that the weather and the climate are not one in the same. The weather or rather the climate in Chicago has been abnormally warm for the last six months.
