There is another diary that has been published with a blizzard of tags at the bottom by a known spammer.
The JOBS Act (Jumpstart Our Business Startups), as reported on March 15th by the LA Times:
The House’s Jumpstarting Our Business Startups Act, also known as the Jobs Act, aimed to make it easier for small businesses to access capital by undoing some federal regulations on business startups. House Republicans portrayed the legislation as one of their signature bills that would help create jobs.

But a growing list of current and former federal regulators, as well as consumer watchdog groups and AARP, have warned that the legislation could open the door to a new generation of fraudulent investment schemes, including some online. Vulnerable investors could be defrauded.
The whole article is very worth a read, and explains the details of the legislation much better than I could. This story was picked up on Friday by
Think Progress, and today, on the AFL-CIO blog, there is a post about it, and the amendments proposed by Democratic Senators Jack Reed, Mary Landrieu and Carl Levin.
Here is the link to the AFL-CIO's action page.
The issue is important, as it seems like a wolf-in-sheeps-clothing attempt by the Republicans to be able to say they "passed a Jobs creation bill" in an election year. I strongly encourage everyone to read up on the legislation, and the proposed changes, and I strongly support the AFL-CIO (though I usually get their e-ails and letters and today I didn't). I'm only anti-spam.
