Super Tuesday, 10 States four GOP candidates and the biggest story comes from Wasilla, Alaska, where Sarah Palin said that she “wouldn't close that door” if her name was included in possible nominations if there is a brokered convention.
CNN reporter Paul Vercammen was in Wasilla, Alaska which was one of the 10 States voting or caucusing on Super Tuesday, and after Palin cast her vote in the Alaska caucus she stopped to talk to CNN.
Vercammen was asked via CNN’s John King to ask Sarah Palin a question (it was relayed because of delay time), King “I would ask the governor how likely does she think there's a possibility of an open convention. And if there is an open convention and someone approached her and said, "Governor Palin, I want to place your name in nomination," would she stop them?”
Palin responded:
“As I say, anything is possible. And I don't close any doors that perhaps would be open out there. So, no, I wouldn't close that door. And my plan is to be at that convention.”
When asked about running in 2016 she again said “anything is possible”.
Sarah Palin was also asked who she voted for but would not answer CNN’s question, but she did tell Fox Business Network on Tuesday evening that she had cast a ballot for Newt Gingrich at her caucus site in Wasilla, Alaska.
Just when you thought the GOP presidential race couldn't get any stranger.
