The Memphis Va closed the Aquatic Theraphy pool back in july 2011. The va has yet to give a good reason for closing the pool or date to reopen the pool. all the for theraphy equipment and personnel to staff the pool are still on the memphis va payroll. the only thing missing is water and vets in the pool. Considering the number of vets memphis va serves and the number of vets the would benefit from Aquatic theraphy you have ask yourself why is these pool not open. Secondly the Va in memphis and Nashville are not approving priavte Aquatic theraphy cenetrs to step in and fill the void caused by the closing of the Memphis va pool. I know that U.S Congressman Stephen Cohen D-9th district of tennesee has been working of these issues, but as yet The Va has not produced plan to get the Veterans who need Aquatic Ttheraphy the medical care they deserve. Vets in Ar,Ms,Tn use the Memphis Va. Any and all help to get the Memphis Va Aquatic theraphy pool reopened would be greatly appericated
