My best news source for enjoying the mistakes, lies, and disceptions of the twisted Republican Party is provided by the shows: The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report. In fact, these days seem intolerable, without my daily dose of Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert.
My cable service in Southern California, Time Warner is unable to deliver a clean version of those shows. The audio content is garbled and littered with pops and misses rendering the show unwatchable on Time Warner cable TV service.
I have been calling the Technical Support line for six months and they have done nothing to correct the problem.
I can listen easily to clips from the show that are excerpted on MSNBC broadcasts.
None of my other channels have this garbled audio feed.
Time Warner Cable TV is apparently unwilling and unable to fix this problem, and I have now begun to wonder if this is a conscious decision on the corporate level at Time Warner.
I don't believe Time Warner Cable TV wants me to hear the pointed barbs delivered soundly by Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. I am beginning to wonder if they are trying to drive me to Fox News to get my updates on current Republican Party outrageous behaviors, hoping I will switch my viewpoint from progressive to regressive, conservative, overly religious, and seemingly intentionally stupid.
Is Time Warner Cable truly this subversive? I don't know. All I do know is that for six months my access to the progressive viewpoint of Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert has been blocked by the poor quality of the audio feed provided by Time Warner Cable TV.
Is it time for me to contact the FCC? I'm totally flummoxed.
